We want to make sure that individuals or businesses who use localHelpar to grow their business are who they say they are. To do this, we verify the identity of all newly registered professionals. This promotes trust and safety and helps keep pros in good company.

How the verification process works:

  1. You enter your information as it appears on your government issued ID including your name, date of birth, and current address.

  2. Using, a certified third-party provider, we securely confirm your details against a range of verified global databases.

  3. Shortly after your ID is verified, assuming there are no issues with your profile such as missing information or we need additional information, your account will be approved and will be live.

What if We cant Verify the ID You Have Provided?

If at some point we cant verify your identity based on the information you entered, you’ll be asked to upload a copy of your government-issued id (Passport, Driver’s License, or Identity card) and proof of your address. That, along with a selfie from your webcam or camera’s phone, will be used to verify who you are. Should this fail, you will be allowed 2 more attempts to upload your ID and a copy of your next kin will be required.

Approval and Interacting with customers

In order to interact with customers i.e to start receiving local leads and messages, etc, your identity must be verified and your account approved by us.
